This EP has taken nearly a year to make, recorded in little three hour sessions in my apartment every Thursday night. It feels like ages ago when I stood outside Triskel's Tavern in Malasaña with Matty Tyack and told him that I was thinking about recording an EP. "I'll help you out if you want, hit the record button," Matty offered. He ended up doing a whole lot more than that. Without his feedback and contributions, this project would never have left the realm of vague, inarticulate intentions and made it out into the world.
Others deserving mention:
Kateleine van der Maas, who was extremely generous with her time and threw herself into the task of singing and playing flute with unparalleled enthusiasm.
Melanie Lawrence, who played beautiful violin on "Bonnee."
Kyle Burnett, who set this whole thing in motion one night with a much needed pep talk, and who fittingly finalized it all by doing the mastering.
Cristina Poveda, who did a crack job of designing the cover.
Emek Tekeli, who loaned out his Jazzmaster and provided crucial feedback during the mixing phase.
